As the season changes and nights grow cold, we're all grasping for the last few mild, beautiful days and evenings before the outdoors becomes frigid and unbearable. With this in mind, I've curated a delightful list of date ideas featuring as much of the outside world.
An incredible outdoor sculpture and light display in one of the prolific set of public green spaces the city has. Let's stroll through and sip hot cider amidst this exhibit at dusk to experience the shift in ambiance as nightfall sets in.
The most whimsical and delightful Christmas-centric experience that combines interactive light shows with the background of a luxe botanical garden. I'm personally so drawn to this space because it is one of the oldest and best preserved botanical spaces on the East Coast.
This show is one of multiple holiday offerings from the Kimmel Center Cultural Campus. It is currently unavailable for this year as it's sold out but it looks incredible and I want to keep it on my radar for next year.
I am deeply lucky to have been born and bred in a creative family and as such, have a deep appreciation for musicals. Hamilton is absolutely one of the most innovative cultural events of the past decade. It's only in town for a few more weeks so act quickly to make a very deep good impression and a fantastic memory with me.
The magic of Carroll's Wonderland is not lost on me and it's a dream to see such a spectacle in person. This particular gem is exclusive to us in 2022 after a hot stint around the country and across the pond. Join me in sipping quality cocktails at The Mad Hatter's tea party. We won't be late for this important date if we plan in advance.
This is an actual dream date because I delight over nothing more than sweets and chocolate is no exception. This event is one of the first of its type that I've seen in Philadelphia as it combines a convention layout with a food festival. Whiskey and Bourbon are so integral to my Irish ancestry and the opportunity to combine them with rich chocolate and delectable wine is simply too irresistable and decadent of an experience to let evade me.
